This year’s AGM to be held on Tuesday 7th March 2023 at Grafham Water fishing lodge, which will start promptly at 7.30 pm. The Agenda is attached below.
Also attached are the minutes of the 2022 Annual General Meeting for the benefit of those members who joined after that date.
The chairman, club captain & treasurer will present their respective reports on the night.
Of particular importance is that any motion/s that you wish to make, must be sent to the secretary 14 days before the meeting by e mail – jbatter100@gmail.com), NOT POST.
If you haven’t yet paid your 2023 subscription which was due on 1st January 2023, please do so now, as you may only attend the AGM as a fully paid up member.
The current chairman Mark Brinkman will be stepping down having held that position throughout the pandemic and Lianne Frost is nominated to step into that role, for which a vote needs to be taken.
After the completion of the AGM formalities, member John Vincent will be passing on his vast knowledge of fly dressing to talk about the concepts we have around flies, their functionality for the intended purpose and how to modify flies to work effectively for how you would wish them to fish.
We hope for a good attendance at this important meeting for the club and look forward to welcoming you there. Don’t forget that we provide sandwiches and Stuart’s famous double cooked chips during the interval.
