GWFFA 2024 ACTIVITIES
Wishing all members a Happy New Year and I am pleased to be able to publish the activities for 2024.
You will see that we have the usual 3 Boat and 3 Bank Matches for the Club Championship and following the popularity of the social days I’ve increased this to 6 at Grafham this year, both weekday and weekends. I have also included a new day at Ravensthorpe and Eyebrook and we will kick off our year with a bank day at Elinor on the 17th February. We will of course have our very popular Dry Fly day and BBQ at Ravensthorpe in June and our Members Day and BBQ at Grafham in July.
We are again off the the Test for Dry Fly fishing but this year on two days in May for 6 rods a day.
Finally we will again end the season with the Winter Plate and what a celebration it will be with many food prizes on offer and to enjoy at the weigh in.
All these activities plus the AMFC matches and the Snowbee Floating Line, Maitland Trophy, and Hinckley Shield are now posted in the Website Calendar and will be on Clubmate shortly.
I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at out events. we had record attendance in 2023 and I very much hope to beat that in 2024.
