James Stuart is Top Rod in the 2023 Hinckley Shield
Two GWFFA teams competed in this years Hinckley Shield and both performed well. We came 3rd and 5th with the team winner being an Invicta Team. The highlight for GWFFA was that James Stuart secured the top rod catching his 6 fish limit for a weight of 16lb 11 oz.
James caught all his fish on the North Shore between the Stumps and Hill Farm Bay. He fished on the edges of the coloured water, casting over it and pulling an olive snake on a fast glass line. Well Done James.
